Once his latest recruit’s deal was finalised, Pacha said:

“We were looking for a guy in his position to bring offence, have a good shot and to be good around the net and we found that in Elgin.”
“He is a guy that knows where the net is and has scored a lot of goals in the CIS.
“He also had a good career in the ECHL and was up and down in the AHL as well.
“He is going to add skill and a bit of grit but also he is a guy that is a complete player and we are just delighted to have him.
“Drydn was crucial in getting this deal done and he was able to provide a great reference for Elgin, so that just shows that we have guys all helping each other within the club.
“Pearce can play in any situation and I know he can do really well in his first year in Europe.”
After confirming his first move to Europe, Elgin said:
“I am very excited, it is obviously a new opportunity for me and its my first time in Europe.
“I really don’t know what to expect but Omar and Drydn have been very welcoming and I am just excited to get over there and get started.”
