Section F will be drum friendly for home fans
A new iniative for the 2024-25 season. Section F will become a drum friendly area of the arena, so if you want to bring along a drum to our games, section F is the place to be for home fans.
Everyone loves the atmosphere that drums bring to the arena, however we have had challenges over the previous few seasons and have now formulated a plan to mitagate any future issues.
To be clear drums are allowed in all areas of the arena. However if we receive complaints from the section you are in, we will ask you to move to section F with your drum. If you do not wish to move, we will look after your drum until the end of the game and give it back then. We would then ask that you sit in section F at any future games or leave the drum at home.
Home and Away fans can bring in handheld drums only, no drum stands will be permitted into the arena, if your drum requires a stand it is to big to bring with you.
All fans may be asked to leave their drum in their car, bus or at the DIA office at the managements discretion.
External Food in the Arena
Fans new and old are reminded that no external food is allowed to be brought into the arena. This rule has been in place since the very first Stars game in 2001 and we hope that you support the arena by using the facilities provided.
Season Tickets are Going Digital
The majority of our tickets will be emailed to fans and they can then download the app to their phone to keep their tickets safe. We will create a video in the coming weeks to show fans how to operate this.
No access to the internet is required, however please download these tickets before arriving at the arena.
Physical tickets can be ordered on request, however we are moving away from physical tickets and will remove these completely in the coming seasons.
Away Fans Will Have Dedicated Away Sections
Section I will be available to buy only online. Once section I has been sold out, we will open Section H for additional seats and we may also open further additional seats in the righthand side of Section G but this will be at the clubs discretion.
Away fans can only buy tickets for the Dundee Ice Arena via our website ticket portal or from their official supporters clubs. Walk up tickets for away fans will NOT be available during the week or on game day. These will be available only online up until puck drop or the away allocation sells out.
Online Arena Plan
Home fans will be encouraged to buy their seats on our new arena plan on our website for all other seats in the arena, with the exclusion of section G, which will be available to buy undesignated seating in this section ONLY, as we transition to the digital age.
Seats in Section G will only be able to be purchased in person from the Dundee Ice Arena Box Office for home fans ONLY.
Away fans will be moved and if no seats are availble in the away sections, we may ask you to leave the building with no refund given.
Section K is firmly a home section and season ticket holders old and new have been filling this up in their droves. As things stand, less than 20 seats remain available in section K!
