We received hundreds of amazing entries, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of bairns in Dundee and beyond. It was a tough decision, but we’re thrilled to announce Abbie Moss, 11 years old, from Dundee as this year’s winner!
Abbie’s jersey design truly embodies the spirit of our great city. We are especially grateful to DC Thomson for granting us the honour of using Dennis, the iconic Beano character, who holds a special place in all our hearts. For one night only, Dennis will be repping #teamdundeebairns colours!
Michael Ward, Commercial Manager at Dundee Stars, said: “We were thrilled with the number and variety of entries sent in for our deliberation. The standard far exceeded our expectations and all those who took part should be extremely proud of themselves.
We felt that Abbie’s design was a fun take on the theme “Dundee” and her comments about the design, brought the design to life.
We can’t wait to see the finished product in action on home ice on 6th April. The auction will open online around 25th March.”
