THE OTHER STUFF

The Stars have only ever faced two teams that begin with the letter “h” and they both come from Hull. The HULL THUNDER and HULL STINGRAYS have both faced the Stars over the last 20 years but the THUNDER were the first to take on the Dundonians, as they competed against the Stars for British National League title in the 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 seasons.

Whereas, the Stars would matchup against the STINGRAYS for the next two years in the BNL and after a five year separation, the two teams were able to face-off again in 2010 when the Stars joined the Elite League. However, the Stingrays would fold after the 2014/2015 season.

Although, there are still plenty memorable moments of both thrilling and feisty matches between the two sides, with an intense and exciting atmosphere every time the pair met.

Over the course of 37 Elite League meetings, Dundee were victorious on 21 occasions and lost 16 times but outscored the English club 131-111 overall.
