The Stars are also looking to bounce back from two tough defeats this week as they lost to Guildford Flames mid-week and were beaten 8-5 by Glasgow Clan in Braehead on Friday night.
Anthony Rinaldi, Elijah Vilio, Spencer Naas, Chris McKay and Drydn Dow all chipped in with goals after Dundee got off to a terrible start and found themselves 7-1 down through 40 minutes.
However, Naas’ third period strike took him to 30 goals for the regular season, becoming the first player to reach the milestone and puts him just one goal away from tying the club record set by Mike Wirll in the 2012-2013 season.
Tonight, the Stars go after their third win of the campaign over Adam Keefe’s side, after defeating the Giants twice in Dundee but they are yet to taste victory at the SSE Arena this season.
So far in three trips to Belfast, Dundee have lost 4-1, 3-0 and 6-2, with their last encounter being the 6-2 defeat in Northern Ireland as Naas and McKay both found the net for the Stars.
Stars captain, Drydn Dow leads his team in offence against Belfast with eight points (2G, 6A), whilst Daniel Tedesco heads up the Giants attack with four goals and three assists against Dundee this season.
Speaking after last night’s loss in Glasgow, Stars Head Coach, Marc LeFebvre said: “It was a frustrating first two periods but on the offensive side we had plenty of chances and on the defensive side, it just seemed like every time they went down the ice it ended up in the back of our net.
“It was not just one thing, it was a matter of different things that cause that but to give our guys a little bit of credit, we fought to the very end and we showed them that we want to play and that we can beat anybody for the most part.
“We did not quit, that is the big thing and after the second period, we talked about how we had to focus on tomorrow in Belfast and building those good habits, getting back to playing the right way and we were rewarded for that in the third period with some goals.
“However, we cannot be a 20-minute hockey team, especially at playoff time so we have to pick ourselves up start again tomorrow at 0-0.
“We have six games left and we are not out of this by any means, we just have to find a way to pick up some points.
“We will get some rest tonight, pick ourselves up, prepare like we normally do and be prepared from the get go.”
Face-off for tonight’s road game in Belfast is at 7pm.
