Dundee Stars are delighted to introduce our all-new Social Sunday’s initiative. From now until the end of the season, Sunday matches will face-off at the earlier time of 5pm and include a post-match player and fan social event.
Our Social Sunday events are as follows:
11/02/2018 – vs Braehead Clan – Post-match player and fan autograph session
18/02/2018 – vs Fife Flyers – Skate with the Stars
11/03/2018 – vs MK Lightning – Q&A Session with the players
18/03/2018 – vs Fife Flyers – Q&A session with Omar Pacha & Elliot Shaw
Stars general manager Omar Pacha was pleased with the introduction of the Social Sundays initiative commenting, “we have looked at many possibilities in the last few months to attract more people along to our Sunday night games as 6:30 can be late for many families. As a club we want to continue to grow and sometimes you have to change things, hopefully for the better”.
Pacha continued, “we wanted to give back to our fans and be able to interact with them through new fan events. As everyone knows, we have been in the community all year and try to be positive ambassadors to the city. We are hopeful that this new implementation will increase both the numbers attending our Sunday games and their overall match experience. Everyone’s goal at the club is to grow the Dundee Stars and we feel this is another step in the right direction”.
