The Kitmart Dundee Stars are excited to announce our fixtures for the 2019/20 Elite League regular season.
The new season will begin on Saturday, August 31st, the following weekend from our two preseason games against Danish side, Odense Bulldogs. Tickets going fast buy your NOW!
On opening night, Stars travel to Glasgow to play Zack Fitzgerald’s Clan in Challenge Cup Group A action before returning home to face the Clan again in the cup on Sunday, September 1st, face off 5.00pm.
The Stars then begin our Elite League campaign on the road against the Manchester Storm on Saturday, September 7th, 7.00pm face off.
The first derby between the Stars and the Fife Flyers will take place on Sunday, September 8th at Dundee Ice Arena, face off 5.00pm.
Stars will first take on the reigning Elite League and Challenge Cup champions, the Belfast Giants in Northern Ireland on Saturday, September 21st in the cup group stage.
Dundee Stars will also face the EIHL PredictorBet Playoff winners, Cardiff Devils in Wales on Saturday, October 12th.
Once again, the Stars will host our main rivals on Boxing Day as the Fife Flyers come to the DIA for a 5.00pm face off, before a return leg two days later.
Dundee will round off 2019 in Belfast as we face the Giants on Monday, December 30 and the first action of 2020 for Omar Pacha’s men is also against Adam Keefe’s Giants on Thursday, January 2th, 5.00pm face off.
There is only one double away header for the Dundonians this year and it firstly takes Stars to Nottingham on Saturday, January 4th to play the Panthers before we head down to Surrey the next day for a battle with the Guildford Flames.
The last regular season meeting between the Stars and the Flyers will be on Saturday, February 22, 7.00pm face off.
Dundee will then welcome the Nottingham Panthers to Tayside for their final league fixture on Saturday, March 28th.
Therefore, the Elite League Playoffs will commence on Friday, April 3rd, with the quarter-finals games being played over that weekend.
Also, the Dundee Stars 2020 home opener game against the Belfast Giants on Thursday, January 2nd has been selected for live television coverage by Freesports.
There will be at least eight derbies between Dundee and Fife this season and the dates for these intense matches are:
