Dundee CCS Stars head coach Marc LeFebvre will be staying with the club once his current deal expires this summer. The likeable Canadian has penned a two year contract extension and he will be an integral part of the organisation's continued development.

Dundee CCS Stars head coach Marc LeFebvre confirmed "The Stars as an organisation is everything I was told it would be. The club owners are great people to work with and the support from the club's fans has been brilliant. At home or on the road they give the team a great lift." Marc added "I am absolutely delighted to extend my stay in Dundee. Along with Mike and Stephen we aim to continue to improve what we already have over the next couple of years. We have an excellent roster this season and going forward we will look to build from our already very strong core." He concluded "For now it is one game at a time. Next up is Braehead at their place on Saturday and then Edinburgh at home on Sunday night. Both are very important games and we will certainly be looking to pick up as many points as possible this weekend."

With Marc confirmed as the Dundee CCS Stars bench leader for the foreseeable future Stars TV's Stephen Swan caught up with the likeable lad from Kanata, Ontario. This is what Marc had to say.

Stars director Stephen Ward explained "After a down year last season Marc has done a fantastic job since he arrived during summer. He is a great guy to work with. His style of hockey is up-tempo and very exciting. Since his arrival we have built a strong relationship with Marc. We believe he is the right guy to move the club forward."

Fellow director Michael Ward added "Marc did a great job of recruiting this offseason. We are very happy with the players he brought in. Across the board they are great skaters and great people. We are delighted with the way he has gone about his business and even more delighted that he will be around to help the club grow over the next few years."
