There's never been any 'rules' for voting for your Player of the Month, the only guidelines for the first one were these.

So far I think this system has worked fairly well and see no reason to change it. I'm open to suggestions though.

I like that idea - not only can you vote whilst the game is fresh in your mind, you don't have to choose just one player.
At the end of the month, it's still the player that got the highest number of votes.
