Stars in the Community is back with a bang for season 2017/18! Today Dundee Academy of Sport brought children from Longhaugh Primary School to DIA where they engaged in a range of classroom exercises using the medium of ice hockey.
The school visit which included the chance to skate on the ice, learn more about the sport of ice hockey and testing the speed of our team was enjoyed by all.
General manager Omar Pacha commented, “Its great that we had the school down here today. They seemed to really enjoy themselves and learn about ice hockey. The guys also enjoyed having the kids being so enthusiastic during practice!”.
