Q: How are you enjoying Dundee? A: I’ve really learned to love Dundee, absolutely love the city and everything it has to offer!

Q: How does it compare to other places you lived? A: Doesn’t compare, 100% the best place I’ve played.

Q: What’s the best part about living in Dundee? A: I actually live just outside Dundee with my Girlfriend but it’s a great location for travelling to Glasgow & Edinburgh for days out!

Q: How easy is it to manage a personal career as well as a hockey one? A: Not very easy at all, but I’m happy it keeps me busy and involved with both companies.

Q: Is there anything you miss about your hometown? A: Just my family.

Q: What is your favourite moment with the Stars? A: The entire experience of the final four weekend last year.

Q: What made you want to play hockey? A: My dad was an American football player so my interest was already there in contact sports then when I was 7 my dad took me to watch the Swindon Wildcats, that was it, I was hooked!

Q: What is your pre-game meal and rituals? A: Chicken & Pasta like every other guy, then I just try to do the same things before every game in the same order.

Q: What’s the weirdest pre-game ritual you’ve seen? A: I couldn’t say the weirdest one.

Q: What do you do to drive yourself to get better every day/season? A: It’s not optional where you have to drive yourself, mentally that should be in your nature if you want to be an athlete.

Q: Who is the best player you have played with? A: Vinny Scorezilla

Q: Who are your British hockey or other idols ? A: I look up to Kris Letang and PK Subban quite a lot, British guys pretty much every coach I’ve ever had, has played at a good level of hockey so it would be tough to tell.

Q: How does the Elite League compare with other leagues? A: Comparing to other British leagues I’ve played in it’s just way faster, everything has to be done at top speed.

Q: How do you deal with the long travel journey’s? A: Netflix downloads is a game changer!

Q: What kind of experience do you get from the imports in the team? A: Both on and off the ice, it’s always great to see how different professionals prepare for hockey and how they all train.

Q: How did it feel to represent GB at the WJC? A: There is no greater honour in my opinion than to represent your country at a sport you love playing, I played some very memorable games too.

Q: What NHL team did you grow up supporting? A: Edmonton Oilers.

Q: What’s your favourite moment from your career? A: Winning the EPIHL playoffs with Peterborough.

Q: Where do you want to be in 10 years? A: Still enjoying myself!

Q: What’s the best thing about the Dundee Stars fans? A: Stars fans are fantastic, week in week out there is nothing but loud support & encouragement, couldn’t fault the fans in Dundee!
